Antigravity® Aerial Yoga Licensing - Franchise Information

Welcome to the Licensing Page of Antigravity® Yoga. The Antigravity® Aerial Yoga Program is licensed to studios. Only studios who have officially licensed the program are allowed to offer the official Antigravity® Yoga suspension technique using the Antigravity® Hammock, especially developed for this program.

Here a few answers to commonly asked questions:

Q: What is the difference between Franchise vs. License?
A: Franchise is a type of License. Depending on where in the world you live, the local legislation will dictate if we can sell you a License (most international territories) or a Franchise (US & Canada). For more information , please see below.

Q: Do I have to dedicate a studio specifically to Antigravity® Yoga?
A: No. Antigravity® Aerial Yoga is designed to be installed and taught in multi purpose studios.

Q: Do I have to call my studio Antigravity®?
A: No. However, if you are considering opening a dedicated Antigravity® studio, we will be happy to discuss that option with you.

Q: How much do you charge?
A: Licensing fees vary, depending on which country you live in.

US & Canada:

In the United States and in Canada, Antigravity® Yoga is considered a Franchise. Antigravity® Yoga meet all criteria set forth by the government. As such, we are required to collect certain information from you, including where you live and where your studio (if applicable) is located. Naturally, all information is kept confidential. Franchising, including the option to purchase exclusive territories, is available in nearly all States and Provinces.

In order to be able to maintain quality control of the Antigravity® suspension Yoga Program and its highly advanced educational component, individual licenses to single studio owners are typically not granted. However, rare exceptions exist and will be considered on a case to case basis. Typically, we offer Master Developer Licenses to individuals and / or entities who can provide us with the following criteria:

Proof of financial means
Experience in developing concepts in a territory
A marketing and development plan
The ability to monitor and control the quality of the program and its expansion
Proficient language skills in English and the local language

We will also grant licenses to large chains and studio owners with multiple locations, if those can provide all the criteria of a Master Developer.

Any unauthorized or unlicensed use thereof is strictly prohibited and AntiGravity® will take all necessary action to enforce its rights.
